Randy Travis

MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH RANDY TRAVIS  I must say that i am very upset about Randy's condition. I do not know him personally however this hits close to home. He is a neighbor of mine. We live about 300 yards apart here in the country outside Tioga, Tx. PLUS I have been in his position myself w/ an acquired virus that landed me in the hospital in ICU and on life support. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I spent a month in a drug induced coma. During that time I was totally unaware of my situation. There were 6 specialists working on me giving me 0% chance of survival. The worst part was yet to come. After I woke up I encountered the biggest nightmare of my life...LIFE SUPPORT...it is a miserable experience and I cannot get Randy Travis off my mind as I feel for him being in this situation. Apparently there have been some rather rude and tacky remarks posted up about him across the internet. HOW DARE ANYONE JUDGE ANYBODY... LET ALONE KICK ANOTHER HUMAN BEING WHEN THEY ARE DOWN! What is the matter w/ people today? Do you not realize that this could be your brother, sister, cousin, mother, father son, daughter, aunt, uncle, OR EVEN YOU? I sit here now w/ tears in my eyes just knowing what he is going through. HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF COMPASSION? I send my most positive vibes and thoughts to Randy for a full recovery so that he gets back on his feet and returns to doing what he does best...MAKING MUSIC FOR THE WORLD TO CONTINUE TO ENJOY like he has done for so many years. My thoughts go out to all of his family and friends. gjm

IT IS ALRIGHT TO CRY

i woke up this morning and before i finished my first cup of coffee, tears were rolling out of my eyes. i am alright though. there is seldom a morning that goes by that it is not a part of my normal routine.it is what motivates me. the tears come from a variety of things.whether they are due to thinking about a friend or family member who have passed away, someone who may not eat a meal today, those who are sick but cannot afford adequate medical attention, personal problems i might be having or even "happy" tears because I saw someone win a car on the Price Is Right (yeah, i do this quite regularly)...it is all for a good reason. it IS what drives me to do what i do.

Existence

we should be old at birth and grow young. the only TRULY happy people who have existed among the living are the young who died young. if we are not fortunate enough to die at a young age, we grow old attending more funerals of our family and friends each year than the year before, eventually finding ourselves all alone due to outliving those that we loved the most. we also find out the truth about how the world and our entire existence is controlled by a handful of the most greedy, wealthy, power hungry individuals who sit back and LET MILLIONS of people starve to death and leave them w/ no place to lay their heads at night. you  and i are in the majority, yet we let 300 people control 40 billion of us. why do you want to lie and pretend that this IS NOT what is happening? i have a solution. a revolution...a peaceful revolution. boycott the rich and barter with the poor.do not buy anything from any monopolies...bahaha...you could never be a part of the solution could you? you are addicted to blue light specials and price rollbacks. i am willing to walk away from it all why aren't you?..because you are materialistic.if we would all walk away from the wealthy who are murdering 10s of 1000s of people every year through starvation, and  did absolutely NO business w/ them whatsoever, over night their money would be worth nothing. and we could take back this world we were born into and make it where EVERY SINGLE PERSON would live in comfort and in harmony. the handful of evil individuals who keep us at bay would have no choice but to conform and be a part of a race of brothers and sisters living together as one. peace and love. gary
